Zurek (white borscht) is a traditional Polish soup, which has to be present on the Easter table, but also works well as a nutritious and warming everyday meal. It is made on the basis of wholemeal rye flour sourdough , thanks to which it is acquires an unusual sour taste. Traditionally, it is eaten with the addition of sausage and eggs, which makes the soup even more filling.
